Is analytics really free?
Yes. MRR, retention, cohorts, LTV, active users, cross-platform entitlements, A/B testing, and campaigns are all included at no cost — with no MRR cap and no per-seat fee. The platform is free forever; the only things that ever cost money are the two optional add-ons: web checkout and ZeroSettle Pro.
What's the difference between Managed and BYOS?
Both unlock direct web checkout on iOS and Android. In Managed mode, ZeroSettle is the Merchant of Record — we handle the Stripe account, global tax remittance, chargebacks, and customer billing support for a single fee of 5% + 50¢ per web-checkout transaction.
In BYOS (Bring Your Own Stripe), you connect your own Stripe and remain Merchant of Record, handling tax and disputes yourself. The platform fee drops to 0.5% of web-checkout revenue, plus your own Stripe processing fees.
Do you charge a fee on App Store or Play Store sales?
No. ZeroSettle fees apply only to revenue you route through our web checkout. Purchases that go through StoreKit or Play Billing are never charged a ZeroSettle fee — even though we still track them in your analytics and entitlements. You can run the free platform on top of your existing App Store and Play billing and pay nothing.
Is there an MRR cap or per-seat fee?
No. There's no MRR cap and no per-seat fee. Analytics, entitlements, A/B testing, and campaigns stay free no matter how much recurring revenue flows through the platform, and no matter how many teammates you add.
Is ZeroSettle Pro required?
No. Pro is an optional $29/mo (or $290/yr, 2 months free) add-on for Regional Pricing and Designer. The platform is free on its own, and web checkout is priced separately as pay-as-you-go fees. You can use the free platform, or take payments through web checkout, without ever adding Pro.
Can I use Pro without web checkout?
Yes. Regional Pricing and Designer optimize your existing App Store and Google Play catalog — they publish and reconcile prices in the native stores. Pro is completely independent of how you take payments, so you can subscribe even if every purchase still goes through StoreKit or Play Billing. And if you cancel Pro, prices you've already published stay live.
